Motorcyclist dead after collision with car in Monticello
MONTICELLO, Ind. (WLFI) – A motorcyclist is dead after a crash in Monticello Sunday afternoon.
According to 24-Hour News 8 sister station, WLFI, Monticello police said around noon a car collided with a motorcycle in the 1800 block of North Francis Street.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have closed North Francis Street from North Main Street to Northeast Shafer Road in Monticello while they investigate the crash.
Law enforcement asks drivers to avoid the area.
