Gas odor prompts evacuation of Brownsburg businesses

BROWNSBURG, Ind. (WISH) — Some businesses in a Brownsburg strip mall were momentarily evacuated Monday morning.

Someone reported the smell of gas in the area, prompting the fire department and gas company to respond just before 10 a.m.

As of 10:35 a.m., the fire department had left the area and the gas company was working with businesses on the issue.
