IMPD officer gets probation in drunk driving plea deal
HAMILTON COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) — An Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officer pleaded guilty on Wednesday to operating while intoxicated.
Christopher White was arrested in Fishers in May.
A deputy said he observed White weaving and crossing traffic lines.
The deputy pulled over White and conducted a field sobriety test. The release stated White had a BAC of 0.182.
With a plea agreement, White was sentenced to just under one year of probation. He must also undergo a substance abuse evaluation and attend a victim impact panel.
His license will also be suspended for 70 days.
According to IMPD, White is back on-duty with the force.
