ANDERSON, Ind. (WISH) — The Animal Protection League in Anderson is holding a Clear the Kennels event in August.

They’re offering most spayed or neutered cats and dogs for $25 each.

Last month, Executive Director Maleah Stringer told 24-Hour News 8 about the sheer number of animals they’re taking in this summer: more than 200 animals were taken in, over a three week period.

Stringer said every cage is full, and they’re keeping animals in the lobby.
