IMPD seeking suspect in two bank robberies

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is looking for tips for finding a man who robbed two branches of the BMO Harris bank.

IMPD believes the man in the pictures below robbed the BMO Harris in the 1400 block of North Shadeland Avenue on July 28 and the BMO Harris in the 10000 block of East Washington Street Friday morning.

In Friday’s robbery, the teller told investigators that the suspect passed a note that implied he was armed and demanded money. The teller complied and the suspect fled.

He is described as a black male in his early to mid-20s, approximately 5’7″ to 5’10” and weighing between 130 and 150 pounds.

In Friday’s robbery, he was seen wearing a gray and black Denver Nuggets hat, sunglasses, a gray-striped short sleeve shirt and dark cargo shorts.
