WESTFIELD, Ind. (WISH) — Investigators say two incidents in Hamilton County that required bomb squads this week are not related.

Fishers police determined the package left at Witten park was not a threat, and the investigation is now closed.

An investigation continues into the Westfield item.

Two devices described as cans with wires and tape all around them were found at MacGregor park.

Investigators say those were types of bombs, but they don’t have a suspect at this time.
