KIB hosts Indy’s First Interactive Library

“Keeping Indiana Beautiful,” or KIB, is hosting Indy’s first outdoor, interactive library, accessible by bike on August 15! They’ve teamed up with a dozen neighborhood groups to show off their community green spaces, and with help from the Public Library, IndyCog and numerous Indy authors, musicians and artists, they’re creating a literary bike crawl!

Here are a few details!

Proceeds raised from this event will help create more access to Green Space for Indy and help sustain numerous projects all over the city. Tickets are $20–register before the event and receive a free t-shirt. Children under 12 ride for free. The self-guided bike tour will begin at KIB’s Fountain Square Headquarters (1029 Fletcher Ave.), where participants will receive their ‘library card’—a detailed map of local community green spaces and pocket parks, organized into different reading genres, and all accessible by bike.

Door prizes will be awarded for readers who dress as their favorite literary character; those who stamp their library card at all 12 locations will be entered into a drawing for a grand prize!

Tickets are available online www.kibi.org/PP&P. Check them out on social media at @kibiorg.
