Stranger steps up to help cancer patient
IRELAND (WISH) – A stranger stepped up to help a woman looking to purchase a used blender for her mother who has stage four Esophageal cancer.
According to a Facebook posted by Cara Duggan, she was looking to purchase a used Nutribullet to help with part of her mother’s cancer treatment.
She shared her story with a man, who was selling a used blender on the website Gumtree, but she never expected him to do what he did.
After hearing her story the man told her he was paying for the Nutribullet. The woman turned him down, but the stranger ordered her a brand new blender. All she had to do was pick it up.
She texted the stranger back and said “Thank you so much! I don’t even know what to say.”

In her Facebook post she said the new blender would help mix her mother’s supplements and the price of a new blender was too expensive.
The family has set up a GoFundMe page to help offset the cost of treatment.
