CANTON, Ohio (WISH) — The 2015 Pro Football Hall of Fame class not only will have the first inductees in the contributor category, Bill Polian and Ron Wolf, but also the first to have two honorees from the same school enter at the same time: Jerome Bettis and Tom Brown from Notre Dame.

“I got to South Bend a few years after Tim won the Heisman,” said Bettis. “But he and coach Holtz changed the culture there; I benefited from their success, and I’m so proud to go in with another Golden Domer.”

Brown added they tried to get the current Irish football team to come to the induction ceremony Saturday, but their first practice is set for this weekend. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
