INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A woman was sentenced Friday to four years for her role in a hit-and-run crash that killed an Indianapolis teenager back in June 2014.
Sarah A. Williams, 26, was sentenced to one year in the Department of Corrections and three years of work release in community corrections.
The June 2014 crash killed 15-year-old Jack Bussa.
Police say the striking vehicle was located and the owner of the car — Williams — was interviewed by detectives. According to officials, Williams denied driving her vehicle when the crash happened and indicated the car was stolen.
After investigating, detectives determined Williams was driving the car when Bussa was hit and killed.
