INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — An Indianapolis-based medical device maker says an expansion of its operations in the city will create as many as 125 jobs by 2020.
Catheter Research Inc. announced plans Friday to spend $4.8 million to expand and relocate existing operations within Indianapolis, as well as purchase new machinery and equipment. The company employs 150 people full time in Indiana, and plans to begin hiring for new positions next year.
The Indiana Economic Development Corporation said in a news release that it offered the company $850,000 in performance-based tax credits.
The company also has operations in Minnesota, Costa Rica and Ireland. Its production includes orthopedic and women’s health products and medical tubing.
