Body found, 2 teens arrested on murder charges

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Two teenagers have been arrested after a body was found Friday on the near east side of Indianapolis, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.

Police say someone called them to report a body could be found in the 3300 block of East Michigan Street.

Police began a “slow excavation” in the area and discovered the body of 37-year-old Ron Trahan, of Indianapolis, around 11:45 a.m. Friday.

A police report states 18-year-olds Caleb Bixler and Keith Cornwell were arrested on murder charges.

Police say the two were roommates of Trahan.
