Festival promotes Indy peace
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Pushing for peace was on the minds of many Saturday in Indianapolis.
Organizers of the second annual Youth Against Violence Peace Festival hoped peace can be achieved through opportunity.
Several community agencies partnered with Circle Up Indy to try to empower residents.
The festival also offered free health screenings, as well as school supplies for kids.
