Study: Key to woman’s heart might be through her stomach

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – New research is supporting what many men and women may already suspect on how to get to a woman’s heart.

A good meal may be the key to wooing a woman.

Scientists at Drexel University studied 20 college aged women. Half were fed and the other half were not.

The study found women who had eaten responded more positively to romantic cues.

Michael Lowe the senior author of the study told CNN that they discovered this on accident. Researchers were studying how women on diets responded to photos of tempting foods and how they reacted to pictures of romance.

MRI results showed that women who had eaten before seeing the pictures have more of a dramatic response than the women who had fasted.

Researchers say more studies with a larger sample size are needed to understand why this may be.
