Video shows pet sitter hitting, slamming dog to ground

BURLINGAME, Calif. (KRON) – Some disturbing video shows a pet sitter jerking a dog by the neck and slamming that dog to the ground.

The video is hard to watch. You can see the woman – allegedly the owner of a dog sitting business in Burlingame, California – lift the dog up by the neck, and then take a few steps with the dog dangling in the air.

Then, you see her slam the dog to the ground, and slap the cowering dog multiple times.

This happened on July 30, authorities said. The video was shot by a neighbor in Burlingame.

The SPCA has been looking at the video, and it believes there is enough evidence for the district attorney’s office to bring animal abuse charges against this woman.
