Blind, autistic teen beautifully sings National Anthem at Fenway Park

BOSTON (WISH) – A 14-year-old boy who is blind and has autism made a harmonious home run with his moving performance of the Star Spangled Banner at Fenway Park.

Christopher Duffley was invited to perform the National Anthem in front of thousands at Monday’s game between the Boston Red Sox and the Cleveland Indians. The New Hampshire teen’s passionate presentation made the audience roar with cheers.

Christopher was born prematurely and was rendered blind due to retinopathy of prematurity, according to his website. The teen found at a young age that he had perfect pitch, which set off his passion for singing. Christopher now sings at events across the country.
