CARMEL, Ind. (WISH) – Carmel police are investigating the attempted robbery of Orange Leaf on West 116th Street Thursday.
Detectives say a man walked into the business and walked to the restroom.
After 20 minutes in the restroom, the suspect walked to the front of the store and told the cashier to give him money or he would shoot her.
The employee’s dad came in to Orange Leaf to drop something off while the attempted robbery was happening. The cashier told her father what was happening and the suspect ran from the store.
Police are looking for a male around 6 feet tall, weighing 160 pounds. Police say he appears to be in his twenties with a thin beard.
