20-hour music marathon to benefit Red Cross
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The American Red Cross is benefiting from non-stop music Saturday night and into Sunday morning.
Music will be played for 20 continuous hours for the event.
The owner of Broad Ripple’s Rock Lobster came up with the idea for a DJ marathon to raise money.
“I’ve been a DJ, really, since Saturday Night Fever came out,” Rob Sabatini said. “It’s just really something I’ve always wanted to do, and I thought it’d be a great way to mix my love for DJing with making money for a great cause.”
Sabatani started the marathon Saturday at 7 a.m. He plans to run it until 3 a.m. without repeating a song.
