INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Two people are in custody after police say a chase went the wrong way on an Indianapolis interstate Monday morning, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officials said.
It started in the 2900 block of Shadeland Avenue. Police say the suspect vehicle was being pursued for a burglary.
The chase lasted several minutes. At one point, police say the suspect vehicle was driving westbound in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 465.
Two people were taken into custody near South Tibbs Avenue and West Thompson Road on the southwest side of Indianapolis.
No one was hurt.
