Man wanted for sexual battery on the Monon Trail

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Police are asking for the public’s help to find a man wanted for sexual battery on the Monon Trail, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.

An artist rendering of the suspect was released by IMPD on Monday.

The sexual battery reportedly took place on August 8 in the 2000 block of Monon Trail.

The suspect is described as a black male in his late 30’s, around 6 feet tall, 200 to 225 pounds with a heavy build and hair worn in braids to the shoulders.

He had light facial hair and was wearing a gray tank top, black athletic shorts, white tube sock and bright colored sneakers.

He is also described as having silver wire framed glasses with square shaped lenses.

The suspect is possibly involved in two other sexual assaults on the same area of the trail.
