INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Two organizations are teaming up to save pets during emergency situations.

Thanks to a donation from Invisible Fence of Central Indiana, the Indianapolis Fire Department now has oxygen masks for animals.

IFD will receive 35 animal rescue oxygen masks. According to the department, the masks fit over the snouts of all domestic animals.

Every firehouse in Indianapolis now has a set of the pet-saving masks. The donation is part of Project Breathe, an effort to equip all fire stations in the U.S. and Canada with the masks.
