BRISTOL, Ind. (AP) — A recreation vehicle parts maker has announced plans to build a $13.5 million headquarters in northern Indiana that will create up to 120 jobs in three years.
Talon Products LLC is a business venture of Elkhart-based Alpha Systems and will be based in Bristol, about 30 miles east of South Bend. The company says construction on the site is expected to be complete by summer 2016, when it is expected to begin hiring line workers, supervisors, technicians and quality control professionals.
The Indiana Economic Development Corporation offered Talon Products LLC up to $860,000 in conditional tax credits and up to $40,000 in training grants based on the company’s job creation plans. The Bristol Town Council approved a five-year tax abatement for the company.
