CARMEL, Ind. (WISH) — GyanSys is bringing their headquarters to Carmel.
The global IT consulting firm announced its plans Wednesday morning.
The company will add almost 250 new high-paying jobs by 2020.
As part of the move, GyanSys will receive almost in $4.5 million in tax breaks but not until Hoosiers are hired.
A 20,000 square foot facility will house their new headquarters.
The company’s CEO says they chose Indiana because it is a great place to attract and retain top talent.
Lieutenant Governor Sue Ellspermann, who was on hand for the announcement, says IT jobs are key for a growing Indiana.
“The IT sector is critical to agriculture, to manufacturing, to healthcare, to every industry out there. And it’s very exciting to have a kind of company, a software, IT, enterprise system support we have here in GanSys, right here in Indiana,” said Ellspermann.
The technology company employs more than 500 people.
