ANDERSON, Ind. (WISH) — A man accused of organizing a robbery of a gun store earlier this month has turned himself in.
Deandre Fairman turned himself in at the Madison County Courthouse on Tuesday. He was accompanied by his attorney.
Investigators say that Fairman got two juveniles and an 18-year-old to rob the Gunslingers Gun Shop on August 13, with the intention of selling the guns in the Chicago area.
Police say he promised each of them two guns and $1,000.
The other three suspects were all previously in police custody.
The Anderson Police Department says there is still a concern for unaccounted for firearms.
