CARE mobile pantry sets up at Baptist church Monday

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The CARE Mobile pantry team set up at Nazarene Missionary Baptist Church on 38th Street on Monday.

The pantry helps hungry communities throughout Indianapolis.

Since June 15, the team has served more than 49,000 people, 7,000 of those were under 5 years old. Nearly 2,000 veterans have been helped.

More than 850 people have volunteered thousands of hours.

The stop Monday continued until 6 p.m.
