INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said that they arrested a second suspect in the death of Renea Lloyd, who was sitting in her home when she was shot and killed by a stray bullet.

Markese Garrett, 17, of Indianapolis, was arrested on Wednesday. He was arrested on the preliminary charges of reckless homicide and carrying a handgun without a license.

Another teenage, a 16-year-old male, was also arrested in the shooting death of Lloyd.

Lloyd’s family members say a bullet came through her window and she was shot in the head.

Garrett was previously arrested and sent to adult court.*
