INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — One of the three Americans who helped stop last month’s train attack in France will be a contestant on “Dancing With The Stars.”

Army National Guard Specialist Alek Skarlatos was one of five people who tackled a man, who was armed with guns and a box cutter, on the high-speed train carrying 500 passengers to Paris. France awarded the group the country’s highest honor.

ABC announced the contestants for the new season of “Dancing” Wednesday.

Other celebrities set to appear on the show include Paula Deen, Gary Busey and Nick Carter.

Season 21 begins Sept. 14.
