BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – Police are investigating after a couple says their cars were shot at as they drove on I-65 in Bartholomew County Thursday night.
Deputies say around 10:15 p.m., a husband and wife were driving in separate cars on the interstate, when the wife says someone in an SUV fired a shot.
The husband, who was driving ahead of his wife, then saw the SUV come up behind his vehicle. He heard a second shot fired.
When the couple got home, they noticed a bullet hole in the passenger side door of the husband’s truck.
The couple described the SUV as being a dark colored vehicle with low profile tires. They believe the windows of the SUV were tinted.
Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Detectives are asking for anyone with information in the case to contact them.
