Ex-choir director sentenced for sexual relationships with students

NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — A former choir director has been sentenced to 16 years in prison for child seduction.

Michael Douce was a choir director at Noblesville High School.

He was arrested in January for having sexual relationships with two students.

On Thursday, he was sentenced to 16 years in the Indiana Department of Corrections for two class C felony counts of child seduction.

Douce took a plea deal in the case in August.

In July, he was arrested again for invasion of privacy.
