DANVILLE, Ind. (WISH) – The Hendricks County Sheriff’s Department stated that criminal charges have been filed in the 2002 murder investigation of a Hendricks County woman.

Natalie Horsley, 33, was discovered dead on a construction site in Nov. 2001.

The case had been considered a cold case for many years until IMPD detectives and the Indiana State Police Lab alerted the Hendricks County Detectives of a potential lead in the case.

Marco Galindo had a warrant issued for his arrest on one count of murder. Galindo was currently incarcerated in a California jail on unrelated charges.

Galindo is being transported back to Indiana where he will have an initial hearing and will be formally advised of his charges in the Hendricks County Circuit Court.
