INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — This year’s Indy Irish Fest is celebrating a special milestone.
It’s the 20th year for the event. The festival is an opportunity to share Irish heritage through music, dance, cultural activities, and family fun.
Erin O’Rourke, the marketing manager with the fest, was on 24-Hour News 8 at noon Thursday to talk more about the celebration, which runs from Sept. 17-20 at Military Park.
The craft beer tent and traditional foods will be coming back and there will be a variety of new and returning bands. Guests are also welcome to attend a Celtic mass on Sunday, celebrated by Archbishop Joseph W. Tobin.
