The inner plastic straw in the flip-top portion of the twist-off cap can break off, Zak Designs says. The straw is colored clear, blue, gray, green, light purple or red.

The bottles were sold exclusively at Target stores in a back to college promotion.

The bottles feature one of several designs, including Captain America, Batman, Minions, My Little Pony, Spiderman, Star Wars, Superman, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Thor and Wonder Woman.

Mold number 14158 and Zak Designs are printed on the bottom of the bottles affected by the recall. Bottles with a black inner straw and black twist-off cap are not included in the recall, the company says.

No injuries have been reported, but the company has received 9 complaints about the plastic straw breaking, including seven instances of plastic pieces being spit out by children using the bottle.
