‘Day of Service’ benefits Indy Animal Care and Control

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — There are plenty of ways residents in Indianapolis can get involved with the city’s animals.

Patty Spitler and the current head of Indianapolis Animal Care and Control (IACC), Sergeant Randy Dodd, we on 24-Hour News 8 at noon Thursday to talk about one of those ways.

It’s called the Lilly Day of Service, and it’s happening Oct. 1. The event benefits the IACC and aims to help animals at the facility find their forever homes.
