McDonald’s worker goes beyond call of duty for customer

CHICAGO (WISH) – A photo of a McDonald’s employee helping a customer has gone viral.

A woman stopped by her local McDonald’s after work in downtown Chicago when she noticed an elderly man in a wheelchair at the counter trying to get an employee’s attention. When he finally did the man asked “help me please.”

The cashier wasn’t sure what he needed, but he finally realized the man needed help cutting and eating his meal.

That’s when the cashier went above and beyond and walked away from the counter to wash his hands and help the man cut his food and help him eat.

The woman said in her Facebook post that she didn’t expect him to do that especially during rush hour.

Seeing this today brought tears to my eyes! Compassion has NOT gone out of style.Today I made a quick stop at McDonald…Posted by Destiny Carreno on Wednesday, September 16, 2015

“My heart was so appreciative for what he did. I couldn’t contain my emotions in the crowded restaurant,” Destiny Carreno posted.

The worker was only identified by his first name – Kenny.
