MIAMI, Ind. (WLFI) — Two men were arrested after police said they robbed a Miami County assisted living facility and got away with more than 600 pills.

Caleb Sullivan, 23 of Lafayette, Wallace Taylor, 24 of Peru, were arrested on several charges including dealing in a scheduled narcotic, as well as robbery and burglary while armed with a deadly weapon.

According to Indiana State Police, early Thursday morning a man wearing a ski mask went into the the Caring Hands Assisted Living Facility in Bunker Hill. He reportedly had a gun, ordered a nurse to unlock a narcotics cabinet, and made away with 642 pills.

The investigation led officers to Taylor’s home where they found the getaway van, a BB handgun and marijuana. Officers also found evidence that had been set on fire behind the home in Peru.

Sullivan had worked as a nurse at Caring Hands, but was fired in July. Investigators believe he was the masked man, and Taylor drove the getaway van.

Police believe the men sold most of the pills prior to the arrest.

Both men are currently behind bars in the Miami County Jail.
