MADISON COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) — A semi crash shut down part of Interstate 69 in Madison County Wednesday morning.

According to Madison County Sheriff officials, it happened in the northbound lanes at the 14 mile marker. This is near Ingalls.

Police say the semi hit a guardrail and rolled. Crews needed to be upright the truck and turn it around on the interstate. Northbound traffic was at a standstill around 6:30 a.m. because of this. The entrance ramp to the interstate was also closed in that area.

Officials said they hoped to have the scene cleared soon.
