HOWARD COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) — A Kokomo man died after a motorcycle crash in Howard County on Wednesday, according to the sheriff’s department.

Emergency crews responded to the 2700 block of N. 400 West around 5:10 p.m. on report of a crash with injury.

Waylon R. Coulter, 20, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Department says Coulter collided with a pickup truck driven by John M. Robertson, 60, of Kokomo.

Robertson was reportedly turning into a driveway and says he didn’t see the motorcycle.

“Coulter dropped the motorcycle on its side, skidding approximately 90 feet before impacting the truck,” a Howard County Sheriff’d Department release stated.

The crash remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the Howard County Sheriff’s Department at 765-457-1105.
