Juveniles arrested after Fortville bomb threat

FORTVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — Police in Fortville said on Thursday they have arrested three juveniles after a bomb threat was made to a local high school.

According to police, around 8 p.m. Wednesday, officers with the Fortville Police Department, Indiana State Police and the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department executed a search warrant in Indianapolis.

Officials say the items used to call in the bomb threat to Mt. Vernon High School were seized by police.

Police say they interviewed and arrested three juveniles that were involved in making the threats — a 13-year-old boy, a 14-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl.

According to police, the juveniles were preliminarily charged with felony intimidation and false informing. They were transported to the Delaware County Juvenile facility.
