IMPD: Teens in custody after home invasion attempt
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Police took two teenagers into custody Friday morning after what officials say was a home invasion attempt near Fountain Square.
It happened in the 1200 block of Villa Avenue, which is near Prospect Street and South Keystone Avenue.
According to Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officials, a victim in the home was pistol whipped. They said nothing was taken from inside the home during the incident.
Two male teens were taken into custody.
No other details were immediately released.
