Westfield man dies after Noblesville motorcycle crash

NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — A Westfield man has died after a motorcycle crash in Noblesville, according to the Noblesville Police Department.

It happened Saturday around 11 p.m. at 156th Street and Boden Road.

Police say a car was traveling west on 156th Street when it pulled into the path of a motorcycle driven by Jack J. Spears, Jr., 31, of Westfield.

Spears was transported in critical condition and died of his injuries Wednesday morning, according to police.

The driver of the car, Andy C. Coy, 18, of Fishers, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The front seat passenger, identified as a 17-year-old from Noblesville, was also transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

A third person in the car, a 16-year-old from Fishers, was treated and released at the scene.

Police say alcohol was not a factor. The crash remains under investigation.
