INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Kids at Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health encountered guests with superhuman abilities Monday morning.

Children and families came face-to-face with some of their favorite superheroes when a window washing crew scaled the hospital dressed as The Flash, Black Widow, Batman and Spiderman.

One crew member says seeing the looks on the children’s faces makes it all worth it.

“It’s humbling. It’s really humbling,” Aaron Myers said. “They really enjoy it. It gives them a little bit of hope, a little bit of strength and encouragement to push on and hopefully they can fight the battle that they’re battling right now.”

This was the second year for the surprise.
