Daniel Craig wants to move on from playing James Bond

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – British actor Daniel Craig said he is over playing James Bond for the moment.

When asked during an interview if he could see himself making another James Bond movie, he said he would rather slash his wrists than do another one.

In a later interview, Craig clarified that for at least a year or two he didn’t want to think about it. He said if he did do another Bond movie, it would only be for the money.

He is contracted for at least one more movie.

He said, “I’ll keep going as long as i’m physically able.”

His new Bond movie, Spectre, is scheduled to be released on Oct. 26. in the United Kingdom. A worldwide release starts Nov. 6.

Craig has been playing Britain’s most famous fictional secret service agent since 2006 in Casino Royale.
