Colts ask company not to fly Brady-taunting blimp

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — An advertising company said the Indianapolis Colts have requested that they not fly a Deflategate-themed blimp.

Advertising company AirSign.com said the Colts reached out to them and asked them not to fly a blimp with #DeflateThisBrady on the side.

Brand ambassador Eddie Thompson said he couldn’t recall a time where a company had asked them not to fly a blimp.

Thompson said that the Colts are hoping to move past Deflategate.

The company had said some Colts fans set up a GoFundMe page to help pay for a sign on a blimp that would taunt quarterback Tom Brady before game time.

The Oct. 18 game was supposed to be the first game back for Tom Brady after the NFL commissioner suspended him for four games over Deflategate, but a judge threw that suspension out.
