Whole Foods recalls cheese nationwide for potential Listeria contamination

AUSTIN, Texas. (WISH) – Whole Foods Market says they are recalling a cheese nationwide due to potential Listeria contamination.

The Papillion Organic Roquefort cheese was packaged in clear plastic wrap and sold with Whole Foods Market scale labels.

The PLU on the package is 029536. All sell by dates are affected.

Whole Foods said the cheese was sold nationwide from their suppliers. They say no illnesses or infections have been reported.

If you purchased the product you should return it to the store for a full refund. Anyone with questions should call their local store or call 512-477-5566 ext. 20060 during normal business hours.
