Artist transforms Bratz dolls into world’s most inspirational women

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Bratz dolls have been reimagined into the world’s most inspirational women.

Artist Wendy Tsao began transforming pre-owned Bratz dolls several months ago. On her site she said she would wash off the dolls’ heavy make-up with hot water and soap and then dress them in new clothing.

On Oct. 8 Tsao released some of her new dolls that were made to look like some of the world’s most inspirational women.

She made dolls to look like Malala Yousafzai, J.K. Rowling, Roberta Bondar and others.

Tsao wrote on the website boredpanda that she knew dolls can be a source of comfort, pride and meaning for children. She wondered if you used real-life people, could kids learn and be inspired through those toys?

On her website she said she plans to auction off the dolls on Ebay in a few weeks.
