INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Game 5 of the WNBA Finals is Wednesday night and fans can get involved in Indianapolis.

The Indiana Fever will play for their second championship in three years. The deciding game against the Lynx is in Minnesota and there’s an official spot for fans in Indianapolis to catch the game.

The watch party for the championship game is at the Ale Emporium, starting at 7:30 p.m. Fans are encouraged to wear red and tip-off is at 8 p.m.

The Fever have been excellent in elimination games. They faced elimination in all three playoff series this season and are 5-0 in elimination games, including a 2-0 record on the road. Not to mention, Indiana has won nine of their last 11 elimination games dating back to the 2012 playoffs.

All-time, the Fever are 11-2 in playoff elimination games.

Forward Erlana Larkins spoke Tuesday and talked about the team as a whole

“It’s a blessing we started out this season not so great,” said Larkins. “A lot of people, pretty much everybody on the team, has battled something that has kept them out a game or two and I think we’ve been resilient. So this is the best group that I would have by my side to go to war on Game 5 like this.”

Win or lose, people in Indianapolis have a chance to celebrate the season with the team and thank the players. Thursday morning, the team is scheduled to arrive at the Indianapolis International Airport just before noon. The Indianapolis Airport Authority will host a Fever Welcome Back Rally at Civic Plaza. Coffee and snacks will be served and fans are asked to get there before 11:45 a.m.

If the Fever win Wednesday, the team will be the first No. 3 seed ever to win the WNBA title.

You can watch the game on ESPN2 at 8 p.m.
