Burglaries in Johnson, Shelby counties continue

JOHNSON COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – Police in Johnson and Shelby counties are asking that homeowners been on the look-out for suspicious activity after burglaries in their counties continue.

According to Johnson County Sheriff Doug Cox, the problem is happening on the east side of the county and neighboring Shelby County.

Sheriff Cox said on Wednesday the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office investigated the report of a residential burglary. Not long after, Johnson County authorities received a call about an alarm at a residence in the 7100 block of East 100 South. That’s on the Shelby County line.

Officers arrived and found the home burglarized.
