Coronor: Pike Township football player died from heat stroke

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A teen football player died from heat stroke, according to the Marion County Coroner’s Office.

14-year-old Collin Kelly died on July 7 following a medical emergency at practice with the Pike Township football team the previous day.

Kelly was a sophomore-to-be with the school.

Practice was suspended indefinitely following Kelly’s death.
