Uber offering delivery service in 3 major cities

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – For the first time, Uber is offering delivery service in Chicago, New York, and San Francisco.

Uber launched its new service UberRUSH on Wednesday. It gives businesses in Chicago, New York, and San Francisco an opportunity to use the service.

The service is working with business platform partners Shopify, Clover, ChowNow, Bigcommerce and BloomNet, as well as local on-demand ordering platforms like delivery.com, so owners can include on-demand delivery into their businesses.

UberRUSH will also helps businesses order and track deliveries, expand delivery zones, and integrate with existing tools and platforms.

Ken and Don Sofer, owners of NYC burrito favorite Blockheads said they use UberRUSH to deliver thousands of lunch and dinner orders to customers every day.

“It allows us to do what we do best. Before we even make the food, the UberRUSH guys are sitting here with a backpack on, ready to take it.”

New York and San Francisco will use both bike and on-foot delivery through the service, whereas Chicago will deliver all the retail things by car.
