IMPD: Victim critical after carjacking, robbery, shooting
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A person was taken to an Indianapolis hospital early Friday morning after being shot on the east side, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officials said.
It happened around 2:15 a.m. in the 3900 block of North Shadeland Avenue.
According to police, the shooting happened during a carjacking and robbery. Police said the victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition after being shot.
No suspect information was immediately available.
